Preet Kaur Gill MP, Labour’s Shadow Cabinet Minister for International Development, said:
“The Global Fund is a proud Labour achievement to work together to defeat HIV, TB and malaria.
"The replenishment in September was an opportunity for the UK to play its part on rebuilding global health systems after the global pandemic and help save millions of lives.
"Instead, the Conservative government have just dithered and delayed, damaging the UK’s reputation as a serious trusted partner on the world stage and leaving us more vulnerable."
