Constituents, including business owners, contacted Preet ahead of the Spring Budget expressing their fears that businesses in the hospitality and night-time economy face an existential threat without greater support from the Governmnet.

Therefore Preet wrote to the Chancellor to convey in the strongest possible terms that constituents in Edgbaston were asking that he give due consideration to reviewing the VAT rate across the hospitality and night-time economy.
