On behalf of constituents, Preet wrote to the Education Secretary to convey in the strongest possible terms their concern that the Government's Higher Education reforms will damage British arts and cultural exports; foster fewer inquisitive thinkers; harm young people’s aspiration; and represents cultural vandalism.

Thanks for sharing this — reforms in higher education are so important, especially for students planning their future and thinking about opportunities abroad! When we look beyond our borders, study abroad can open up new pathways and fresh perspectives that truly shape a career and life.

Once you’re ready to take that step overseas, planning student accommodation abroad early can make settling in so much easier. For example, if Australia is on your list, finding student accommodation in Brisbane ahead of time can help you feel at home and focus on making the most of your experience.

Preet wrote to the Education Secretary on 19 December 2023, stating that she strongly condemns the reforms on higher education made by the Government. The concerned constituents contend that these changes may injure British arts and culture, limit the number of inquisitive thinkers, and ruin ambition among young people, calling it cultural vandalism. It threatens the very thrust of the creative spirit, essential to thrive in cultural exports, under this reform. Access to a reliable thesis book printing shop in Canada would be much more useful in these changes for students and researchers, as it would cater to their academic needs. You may read Preet's full letter and the official response below for further details.
