On behalf of constituents, Preet wrote to the Education Secretary to convey in the strongest possible terms their concern that the Government's Higher Education reforms will damage British arts and cultural exports; foster fewer inquisitive thinkers; harm young people’s aspiration; and represents cultural vandalism.

Preet wrote to the Education Secretary on 19 December 2023, stating that she strongly condemns the reforms on higher education made by the Government. The concerned constituents contend that these changes may injure British arts and culture, limit the number of inquisitive thinkers, and ruin ambition among young people, calling it cultural vandalism.
