It was great to join Richard Parker at Kitwell Primary School in Bartley Green. I was pleased to discuss the work the Government is doing for families and the local community, we have: ✅Scrapped the two child cap ✅Expanded free school meals to over half a million children ✅Introduced funding for more free breakfast clubs With 71% of pupils on free school meals, Kitwell, with Government funding, have ensured that all children get a healthy lunch. New breakfast club launched at Oasis Academy Woodview in Edgbaston. 🥣 I’ve long campaigned for stronger early years support, so it’s fantastic to see the Government delivering a free breakfast club here. I visited their brand new breakfast club this week. Already, 60 children have signed up. It’s helping parents with punctual attendance, getting children into school on time, and making sure they start the day with a healthy breakfast.

The House and the public understand the importance of independent security vetting, and why sensitive personal information must be protected. But they are also shocked that decisions of such significance could be taken without the knowledge of the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister, has been clear when concerns arise, they must be escalated and ministers fully informed.
